Treasurer's report by Gale---approved.
Membership report by Alta. She will put membership stats on a new graph. There are now 434 members. Signatures must be on the membership application each year.
Every race, social events that involve running, and track workout programs should collect signature waivers.
Haggen to Haggen - Greg received flak from WTA. The club approved trying to change the route so as not to affect bus traffic. Greg will work on it.
Chuckanut 50K- Fairhaven Pavilion reserved for March 15, 2003. New race directors are needed but former directors Doug and Richard will mark the course.
Events and Activities-Earth Day social run April 20 had 15 people in attendance. Most had coffee at Barkley Starbuck's after the run.
Old business: Scholarship applications are out for the high schools. There have been no responses yet and the deadline is June 15. Christy may ask the Herald to print an article.
College scholarships of $500 each went to Ashlee Vincent and Zach Boteilho. Christy brought thank-you notes received from Ashlee and Zach.
Entries for the Chuckanut Footrace are available. New sponsor is Superfeet.
Mile markers on Interurban? We need the cooperation of Larrabbee State Park, everyone else involved is on board. Tjalling will contact the head ranger.
Events Committee: The event for July will be a hash run with a potluck after. For August there will be a predicted time contest for the mile and 2 mile. That event will be on Sunday evening, August 18 at Fairhaven Park. Postcards will be sent when plans are finalized.
Bill, the Webmaster, will put old race results on our site. Info he will try to include: name, age, gender, time, pace, age group, and place in age group.
Newsletter editor Vicki Griffiths received approval to purchase a new scanner ($200 limit).
