GBRC Meeting 12/19/01 (Prior to social)
In attendance- Len, Alison, Carolyn, Christy, Mary, Tjalling, Craig
Discussion of upcoming Lake Samish Runs
Shuttle service to be used this year to help with parking and traffic situation.
February Run
Two For the Road Reported that Bloedel was not available- will register in Whatcom Falls Park. Waiver needed for Parks and Rec to show non-profit.
Gran Prix
Events committee will establish date/ time for Grand Prix awards for 2001
and accompanying adventure run. Date to be printed in next newsletter.
Len reported that Gran Prix results were not complete since be did not have
data yet from Fairhaven Frosty.
Len has been in contact with Haggen about potential Thanksgiving run in Ferndale Idea was well received.
Chuckanut Footrace transition committee has not met yet, but review of 2000 Chuckanut Race expenses was held. July 7th was selected for next Chuckanut Footrace.

Equipment use policy discussed- Use fee for non-club events of $50.00. starting in January 2002, was moved and approved -
Budget for 2002 discussed. Changes in Craig Bartlett's training and coaching fees approved. Running shoe support program not taken advantage of as anticipated. Amount allocated changed to $200.00 Mary to follow up with Gale to review shoe support program -Remaining budget moved and approved.
Brief discussion of GBRC website held. credit card needed for set-up. Contract distributed to Len. Tjalling discussed possibility of having a local marathon -
